Hi, my name is เขียว [K̄heīyw], which means "Green" in English, so everybody just calls me Green. I am certified Ashtanga, Hatha and Aerial Yoga instructor.
I'm happy you've found my website. My courses are aimed at everyone - with or without previous Yoga knowledge - regardless of gender, age, state of health and weight.
Yoga allows you to find a new kind of freedom that you may not have known even existed.B.K.S. Iyengar
Yoga is a thousands of years old science, which is highly differentiated and practically concerned with the health of body, mind and soul. After studying many different Yoga styles I got my Yoga teacher certification in Mysore, India, the motherland of Yoga.
I teach the Yoga and Power Yoga by the Iyengar method, which is a lively, active and challenging form of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. The exercises create a balanced interplay of strength and endurance, correct body alignment, flexibility, balance, breathing and relaxation. They help to achieve a natural and harmonious alignment of the body, which has a direct and positive effect on health and mental state.
As a teacher it is important to me to ensure that each of my participants is taught in a safe and progressive manner. Feel free to get in contact and tap into your potential and the power of this ancient practice to be a healing presence in the world.
There are a lot of reasons people choose to practice Yoga, including its many physical, mental, and psychological health benefits. These are the top benefits as I see it:
You don’t need to be able to touch your toes to do Yoga with me, but if you practice regularly, that may be one of the positive side effects that you will experience.
In addition to stretching your muscles, the physical demand of holding each pose will help you build strength and tone your body.
By entering and holding a pose you focus on the alignment and ignore all other thoughts in your head. The more you practice, the calmer your mind will be — on the mat and off of it.
A lot of chronic pain is caused by improper alignment. Yoga realigns your body and increases the blood flow, which can dramatically reduce aches and pains and also decreases fatigue.
One more important thing that you will experience while you hold your asana and consider your alignment is an improvement in your breathing. Whether you realize it or not, many of us hold our breath during times of stress. The more you practice breathing through Yoga, the less you’ll end up holding your breath unconsciously, and oxygen to your brain is a good thing!
These are just a few of the many ways your body and your mind will benefit from doing Yoga. I encourage you to give it a try and experience the positive effects yourself.
